Age (experience and wisdom) gives us confidence in and certainty of ourselves. The world is chaotic and beautiful. People are lovely and also idiotic. We don’t put our trust in anything or anyone outside of ourselves anymore. We don’t spend our energy wishing for outside circumstances and/or people to change. We accept it all. We know who we are. We know what we want. We know how to maneuver. We know what we know and how we know it. Age is a great gift!
I dreamed that I was driving a bus down a mountain in reverse. The brakes on the bus fail on the curvy mountain road. There are no guard rails. I am making every turn fully aware that if I don’t make the turn, I will die. Then I see ahead of me a large flat area filled with rocks and sand, tiny rocks, and sand, and I know that if I hold the bus straight, I can land it there. And I do.
Most of the time these kinds of dreams don’t have a resolution. I wake up when the bus goes off the mountain. I wake up somewhere in the middle of it terrified.
But, this time I actually stopped the bus safely. There were others who came after me in the same predicament. They followed me into the landing place. We all were safe.
There’s a lot of energy for me around the other vehicles following me into the landing place. I was surprised. I wasn’t intentionally being a leader. I was trying to stay alive. But, I was leading. And there’s wisdom here in how I view/do my job and also how to live my life.
I am so here with you!!! Even in the way, I do my job! I’m a grandmother pastor. Wise. Unhurried. Tea. Let’s hang out!!
I miss you! When I think of you, I always picture you walking in the forest, breathing in slowly.
Love this! Thank you!
I wrote this in my journal today.

This is soooo good! Chaotic and beautiful, lovely and idiotic. Landing here. Accepting. Staying alive!
